At Four Hills Farm, we strive for excellence for our animals, farmers, and consumers. Our flock management is dependent on livestock guardian dogs. We usually have a group of six or so whose job it is to guard the sheep. We live along a wooded creek where coyotes and bobcats roam. An electrified boundary fence helps, but the dogs’ nocturnal call and response with the coyotes keep the sheep safe. We have never suffered a coyote kill at this farm in Woodford County.
