Sometimes disputes happen in the pasture. Generally there are one or two ewes that have trouble getting along with others. Purple Tag was famous for butting others. In this case, the dispute may be over a nice lush patch of fescue. Or a comment about the size of udders. It is nice to recognize that there are differences in ewes, despite the species’ reputation for sameness and lack of initiative.
